Ja'Keta - All Night | Song Review

Ja'Keta has released her new single, second to be released on all major streaming services called 'All Night'.

The song is a slow, steady RnB mix with upbeat chords. Some people may describe this song as a 'vibe' - it gives vibe-y feels. Certainly a song you would chill too.

I honestly think Ja'Keta is very talented. 'All Night' and her previous single 'Crazy' are really good. Her vocals are insane and I can see Ja'Keta being a huge success in the future. Since doing these 'Meet The Artist' posts, I have really fell in love with smaller artists like Ja'Keta because I like being one of a small audience that are listening to them but I truly believe artists like Ja'Keta needs more recognition - more people need to take the time to listen to smaller artists music.

'All Night' is certainly one of my new favourite songs. I love it. It isn't too up-beat that it is in your face but it also isn't too slow where you can get bored. Very good work Ja'Keta!

I got the chance to do a little Q&A session with Ja'Keta about her new single 'All Night':

TE - What was the inspiration behind your song ‘All Night’?

J - I wanted to cater to men. I want women to know that its important to be affectionate to their man. Most importantly that men know its okay, we can relax.

TE - How would you describe your music to people who haven’t heard it before?

J - My music is moody. I bring out the feels. All the feels.

TE - What was the writing/recording process like for ‘All Night’?

J - I thought about intimacy. What I imagine it to be...With someone you love.

TE - What would you like to achieve in the next 5 years?

J - More music, collaborations, and hoping I will only be focusing on music.

TE - What have you got planned next? Any new music?

J - Oh I'm working!!! I have a lot in store.

Prodigal - When We Bleed

Prodigal is an Alternative Pop/Rock artist from Finland. The nature of his music is to be an eccentric mix of all the different styles he listens to and creates something catchy, immediate and current out of it all. His new single 'When We Bleed' was released independently ahead of his upcoming debut album. 'When We Bleed' reflects on a world where every decision and action seems to be motivated by blatant narcissism of some kind. Trying to navigate these odd times, the song tries to find relief in numbers and the fact that for better or worse, we're never really alone in trying to make sense of it all.
