Lil Nucleus Drops Bold New Single: "FORBID!"
Lil Nucleus, also known as Chris, Christopher, or Lil Nuke, is a musician, singer-songwriter, rapper, and producer from Ohio, United States. He started making piano music around 2010 but took a break before coming back in late 2016. At that point, he began experimenting with electronic music and later explored many genres, including hip-hop, rap, pop, and alternative rock.
His latest single, FORBID!, is a Jerk Rap track, a style he hasn’t done before. The song was inspired by someone uploading a cover of one of his songs without permission. He took the cover down from SoundCloud and turned the experience into music. In FORBID!, Lil Nucleus talks about how he raps better than others and shares his thoughts with a mix of frustration and confidence.
Even with the confrontational theme, he makes sure to thank his fans. “I love you all so much and I appreciate all of the fans that support me,” he says. The track gives listeners a new side of Lil Nucleus, showing both his creativity and his personality.
FORBID! is out now on streaming platforms and shows that Lil Nucleus is still experimenting with new styles while staying true to his music.
