FangSlinger Bring Their Lost Souls Saloon To Life With “Undead Redneck Rock N’ Roll”
FangSlinger return with “Undead Redneck Rock N’ Roll”, released on 9 October 2026. The single is the first taste of their forthcoming second album, Tales From The Lost Souls Saloon, and opens the next chapter in the band’s supernatural Western world.
Where their debut, Welcome To The Lost Souls Saloon, introduced undead outlaws, vampires and stories from beyond the grave, this new track puts the band themselves at the centre. FangSlinger describe it as heavier and harder, with a sound shaped by the prospect of getting in front of a crowd. It’s part introduction, part mission statement, built around heavy riffs, a big chorus and a Wild West spirit.
“We wanted something that told you exactly what FangSlinger is within about thirty seconds,” the band say. “Heavy riffs, a massive chorus, a bit of the Wild West and something a room full of people could become part of.” They had the live show in mind as they wrote it, considering where the crowd might join in and what they could shout back.
That sense of audience participation carries into the video, directed by O.D. Collins. FangSlinger invited volunteers to join them on a farm, and dozens of “lost souls” turned up in costume. The gathering became an undead hoedown, with a live performance, dancing and fire performers.
The video reflects the connection FangSlinger have built with their fans since their debut album. Supporters travel between shows, wear cowboy hats and FangSlinger shirts to festivals, and create their own characters within the Lost Souls universe. Rather than simply dressing up a fictional world for the camera, “Undead Redneck Rock N’ Roll” captures fans stepping into it alongside the band.
