Raised on Long Island in a traditional Greek Orthodox household, Ellis grew up surrounded by music while often feeling like she was balancing different sides of herself. At home, she was creative and expressive, writing songs from a young age and even bringing original work into piano lessons meant for classical training.

Outside the home, she was more reserved. Music became a place of comfort and stability, especially as she managed anxiety connected to a childhood heart condition. Early performances at church events and local fundraisers gave her confidence, and by twelve she had earned recognition at Long Island’s Got Talent, realising her voice could reach people beyond her immediate circle.

A personal loss during her teenage years had a lasting impact on her songwriting. After the death of a close cousin, music became a way to process emotions that were difficult to express in conversation. That focus on emotional detail continues to shape her writing today.

After receiving a scholarship to Berklee College of Music, Ellis developed her skills in songwriting, production, and performance. That period helped shape the artist she would later become through her 2025 debut EP Ultrabaddie, a project centred on confidence, independence, and emotional honesty.

Since then, Ellis has built a strong presence as an independent artist. She has gained more than 7.3 million views on TikTok, grown a social following of over 100,000, and received coverage from Rolling Stone and Digital Journal. Her live performances include appearances at New York Fashion Week, Steinway Hall, and support slots for artists such as Evangelia and Emilia Ali.
