Zara Chantelle Releases Uplifting New Single ‘Good Man’

Zara Chantelle is an 18-year-old singer-songwriter from Adelaide, South Australia, and her new single Good Man is already making waves. Known for her indie-pop and rock songs, Zara writes about experiences many people would rather forget, turning personal struggles into relatable, emotional music. “Some call me a mind reader, and some call me insane. My therapist calls me self-aware,” she says.

Studying songwriting at the Adelaide Conservatorium of Music, Zara draws inspiration from artists such as Olivia Rodrigo, Aleksiah, Gracie Abrams, Taylor Swift and Missy Higgins. Her songs capture real emotions and moments, taking listeners straight into the highs and lows of love and life.

Good Man is a celebration of finally finding someone who treats you right. After watching many friends emerge from toxic relationships, Zara noticed the joy and relief they felt when they were truly loved. The song captures that feeling, combining energetic pop-rock with catchy hooks that make it impossible not to sing along.

“This song is for anyone who has ever been with someone who made them feel like they weren’t enough,” Zara says. “It’s about the excitement of feeling happy in a relationship and recognising how far you’ve come.”
