Eylsia Nicolas Shares Her Journey with “Wake Up in the Morning”

Eylsia Nicolas’s new song, Wake Up in the Morning All By Myself, is a heartfelt reflection on resilience, loss, and rediscovery. For Eylsia, waking up alone is more than just lyrics; it is an experience shaped by her extraordinary life.

At 14, Eylsia won the Irish Open and felt unbreakable. By 17, her Irish-Filipina heritage and family roots in Belfast led to an unexpected challenge when she was banned from Wimbledon as a “security risk.” She returned at 18 to compete at Wimbledon and the US Open, only to face an injury that ended her competitive tennis career. She lost friends but gained perspective, and life took her in a new direction.

Eylsia built successful businesses and even became a college president. Yet music, her first love, always called her back. After suffering permanent lung damage and vocal cord injury following a Covid-19 vaccination, she feared she would never sing again. Through determination, patience, and her work at WorldIPI.com, she gradually restored her voice and returned to creating music.

Her efforts paid off. Wake Up in the Morning All By Myself reached number one on the Groover Singer-Songwriter Charts for four weeks, a milestone she describes as a dream come true. Today, alongside her luxury brands Nicolas of Palm Beach and Real Boxer, she is preparing to tour again, sharing her music with audiences around the world.

Eylsia’s story is a reminder that waking up alone can be heavy, but resilience, faith, and creativity can bring people back to joy and purpose. Her music speaks to those who face similar challenges, offering hope and connection through her personal journey.

With gratitude for her fans, Eylsia continues to inspire, showing that even in solitude, strength and passion can flourish.
