Forever Now Reflect on Escapism and Change with Their Single ‘Said And Done’
Swedish alternative rock band Forever Now continue to build on their emotionally charged discography with their evocative single ‘Said And Done’. Originally written in 2022, the track explores the deep longing to break free from reality and begin again - a theme that resonates with anyone who's felt stuck in life and ready for a clean slate.
With shimmering guitars, earnest vocals, and a raw lyrical core, ‘Said And Done’ taps into the band’s signature sound: emotionally rich, unfiltered, and strikingly relatable. Though not their most recent release, the song remains a standout in their catalogue, showcasing a turning point both musically and personally.
Forever Now officially came into existence in 2019 after winning a songwriting contest with their demo ‘Coming to the Point’. However, the band’s origins stretch further back, beginning when founding members Filip Grajek (vocals, rhythm guitar) and Pontus Westberg (lead guitar) started writing songs together during their school years. That early creative partnership laid the foundation for what would later become Forever Now.
Following the contest win, the band gained traction through performances on local radio and, by 2022, had cemented a steady lineup: Filip Grajek, Pontus Westberg, Henry Bergman-Paul on drums, and Gustav Jakobsson on bass. From that point on, Forever Now took their sound to stages across Sweden, evolving from practice sessions to an active live presence and a growing list of original releases.
With over ten songs released to date, Forever Now continues to shape their identity - a blend of heartfelt storytelling and expansive alt-rock textures. ‘Said And Done’ remains an important piece of that journey: a song born out of transition, longing, and the desire for something new.
