Way More So Channel Pop-Punk Frustration on “Stuck”
London-based band Way More So return with their second single, “Stuck”, an energetic pop-punk track about struggling to escape the same thoughts, emotions and situations.
Formed in 2024, the band draw inspiration from the early-2000s alternative scene, particularly the punchy sound and attitude associated with Blink-182, Sum 41 and Box Car Racer. After introducing themselves with their debut single, “Yeah, Yeah, You’re Right!”, Way More So continue to shape their identity with a release that feels both nostalgic and current.
“Stuck” captures the frustration of wanting to move forward while repeatedly finding yourself pulled back into an exhausting cycle. Energetic guitars and punchy drums give the track its momentum, while its emotional edge reflects the conflict at the heart of the lyrics.
The single holds particular importance for the band as it was the first song Tiziano wrote for Way More So. Completed during the summer of 2026 and recorded at SAE Institute in London, it helped establish the direction the group wanted to pursue.
Released on 2 October 2026, “Stuck” is another confident step for Way More So. Rooted in the alternative music they grew up with, the track shows a band beginning to turn those influences into a sound of their own.
