BRAZN Turns Insecurity Into an Electropop Anthem on “My Final Boss”

BRAZN’s new single, “My Final Boss”, takes the struggle with self-doubt and gives it the scale of a video game’s final encounter. It’s a cinematic electropop track about facing the insecurities that stand between someone and a more confident version of themselves.

The song builds towards an explosive, chant-led chorus, driven by maximalist digital production. A powerful hook arrives around the 50-second mark, giving the track an early lift before its full force kicks in. The result is bold and theatrical, with the sort of energy that suits its video game inspiration.

Born in Pennsylvania and now based in Los Angeles, BRAZN has built their project around fierce self-expression. Their name carries a simple message: to be bold without shame. They hope their music helps listeners feel a little more BRAZN themselves.

Drawing on electropop and electronic influences, BRAZN pairs meaningful lyrics with hard-hitting production. Their songs explore experiences such as mental health, love and heartbreak, rejection and the expectations placed on queer people, turning difficult subjects into bright, starry soundscapes. Their influences include Troye Sivan, Charli XCX, Porter Robinson and Oklou, while “My Final Boss” is also described as a track for fans of Nemo and Rina Sawayama.

Since moving to Los Angeles, BRAZN has performed for the artist discovery series We Found New Music. Their previous single, “Ribs Up On The Rhythm”, arrived in October 2025 and cast anxiety as a seductive presence pulling someone away from enjoying a night out with friends.

With “My Final Boss”, BRAZN turns that inward struggle into something expansive and defiant. Its message is clear: facing insecurity can be difficult, but it can also be the first step towards becoming more confident.
