Orrin Launches a Dark New Era With “DRUG$$$”

After taking a year away from releasing music, Orrin is back with “DRUG$$$”, an intense alternative rock-rap track built around addiction, troubled relationships and the urge to escape.

Orrin first found widespread attention through his appearance on Dr. Phil, where he introduced himself as a “cyborg from the future”. The moment went viral and has since attracted more than 30 million views across social media. While that appearance introduced his unusual character to millions, his music has allowed him to develop that identity further and build an audience of his own.

Following the release of his Lost in Translation album, Orrin stepped away for a year. “DRUG$$$” is his first release of 2026 and signals the beginning of a darker, more unpredictable chapter.

The track brings together an anthemic guitar riff, hyperpop production and heavily glitched vocals. Its rock foundation gives it plenty of weight, while the distorted electronic elements make the song feel restless and slightly chaotic. Orrin moves between rap and melody without allowing the energy to settle for long.

Its central guitar riff gives the track an immediate, memorable pull, but the production surrounding it constantly shifts and breaks apart. “DRUG$$$” also offers the first glimpse of Orrin’s upcoming EP, Slime Rage, which is expected to arrive in 2027. If this opening track is any indication, the project will take his music in a heavier and more experimental direction.

A music video filmed in New York City will accompany the release, bringing the song’s frantic energy into a visual setting. With an audience of more than 250,000 followers on TikTok and 60,000 YouTube subscribers, Orrin already has a strong platform for this next phase.
