LODiVE Let Attraction Flow Freely on ‘Flo Flo’
There is a particular kind of excitement that arrives when feelings for someone begin to grow. It can make an ordinary day feel different, turning the simple act of buying flowers or taking an unfamiliar route into something meaningful. LODiVE (로다이브) captures that gentle shift on their third single, ‘Flo Flo’, featuring Dopein.
The song marks the third chapter in LODiVE’s story told through rhythm and melody. Where the previous single ‘Citylight’ followed a fleeting pulse against the backdrop of the city at night, ‘Flo Flo’ brings that feeling closer. Its focus rests on the attraction between two people and the sensation of gradually falling for someone without needing to understand why.
Dopein’s performance sits at the heart of the track, moving carefully between excitement and hesitation. Rather than making the emotion feel overly dramatic, the vocals reflect those smaller moments of uncertainty and anticipation, including the butterflies that can cause someone to lose their rhythm for a beat or two.
That feeling is carried by the groove created through LODiVE’s drumming and Seungjae Kim’s guitar. Jieun Park’s flute and Yongjun Jun’s keys bring warmth to the arrangement, while Bruce Kang’s bass gives the track a steady foundation. Each part moves naturally alongside the others, allowing the song to maintain the sense of continuous motion suggested by its title.
‘Flo Flo’ does not attempt to explain every detail of attraction. Instead, it places listeners directly inside the feeling, where excitement, nervousness and curiosity begin to blend together. It is less concerned with where those emotions might lead and more interested in the moment they first become impossible to ignore.
With its warm instrumentation and gently unfolding atmosphere, ‘Flo Flo’ presents falling in love as something instinctive. LODiVE allows the feeling to arrive at its own pace, creating a track that drifts naturally towards the moment when attraction becomes clear.
