17 Flexes on "Track 0" as "More to Life" EP Lands

17, the Premier League footballer and Nigeria international, continues to build his presence beyond the pitch with the release of his latest single Track 0, taken from his now released EP More to Life.

Originally dropping on 19th March, Track 0 set the tone for the project with 17’s signature opulent rap style. Backed by atmospheric production from EM1X, the track sees him reflect on success, personal growth and new beginnings. It captures a confident but measured energy, balancing ambition with gratitude and offering a glimpse into his mindset heading into this new phase.

The release followed strong momentum from earlier singles Hop Out featuring Ramz and ODUMODUBLVCK, and Letter, both of which picked up widespread support from outlets including The Guardian, The New York Times, BBC 1Xtra, Capital Xtra, Kiss FM and GRM Daily. In 2025, 17 also appeared on UEFA’s Off Pitch show, where he performed live and spoke about his journey across football and music.

Now fully released, the More to Life EP sees 17 carving out a clear lane of his own. The project blends effortless swagger with feel-good, celebratory energy, reflecting success in a way that feels natural rather than overstated.

Rooted in his Nigerian heritage, the EP leans into strong Afrowave influences while weaving in elements of UK rap, drill and Afrobeats. Collaborations with West African artists including Fido and fellow Premier League footballer and artist Amadou Onana add further depth, bringing different sounds and perspectives into the mix.

17’s passion for music has been building steadily. His debut single Don’t Shoot marked a milestone as the first release by a Premier League athlete, and since then he has continued to expand his creative output alongside ventures in fashion and philanthropy.

With Track 0 and the full More to Life EP now out, 17 continues to show that his ambitions stretch far beyond football, offering a well-rounded glimpse into an artist finding his voice and pushing his sound forward.
