17 Flexes on New Single "Track 0" and Announces Upcoming EP More to Life
17, the Premier League footballer and Nigeria international, continues to carve out a distinct identity beyond the pitch. On 19th March, he released his latest single, Track 0, the first from his upcoming EP More to Life, marking a new chapter in his musical journey.
The single is classic 17, with an opulent rap sound layered over EM1X’s atmospheric production. On Track 0, he reflects on success, personal growth, and new beginnings, balancing gratitude for his journey with his dedication to both football and music. The track shows his ability to explore multiple passions while staying true to himself.
Track 0 follows the success of his previous singles, Hop Out featuring Ramz and ODUMODUBLVCK and Letter, both of which received coverage from The Guardian, The New York Times, BBC 1Xtra, Capital Xtra, Kiss FM, and GRM Daily. In 2025, 17 also appeared on UEFA’s Off Pitch show on YouTube for a live performance and interview about his career on and off the pitch.
The More to Life EP, dropping on 9th April, offers a deeper look into 17’s world. The project blends effortless swagger with celebratory energy, reflecting success in a natural, understated way. It draws heavily on his Nigerian roots, featuring Afrowave influences and collaborations with West African artists such as Nigerian singer Fido and fellow Premier League footballer-artist Amadou Onana, mixing drill, UK rap, and Afrobeats sounds.
Music has long been a passion for 17. His debut single, Don’t Shoot, made history as the first release by a Premier League athlete. Since then, his ventures in music, fashion, and philanthropy have established him as one of the league’s most versatile and dynamic figures.
With Track 0 and the More to Life EP, 17 proves that his ambitions go far beyond football and that there is always more to life.
