Shards, the 30-year-old independent solo artist from Naples, Italy, has released her latest single, Brought Me Here, which came out worldwide just two days ago. She writes, sings, and produces all of her own music, and her all-time favourite artist is George Michael.

Brought Me Here deals with the stages after a breakup, capturing the moment when every thought is overanalysed and emotions are completely overwhelming. The song asks the question of whether to hold onto hope or let go for good.
