Taylor D Drops Emotionally Charged New Single “Survive”
Taylor D, a young rising indie pop-rock artist from Dublin, has released her latest single, Survive, further establishing her as one of Ireland’s most exciting emerging voices. Known for her bold, genre-blending sound, Taylor combines pop, rock and alternative influences, earning national airplay, major editorial playlisting, and growing international attention.
Over the past year, Taylor has achieved significant milestones. She was named Today FM’s Ones to Watch 2025, sold out headline shows in Dublin and London, and secured important Spotify editorial placements including It’s a Hit and All New Rock. Her music continues to gain traction on UK and Irish radio, with plays on BBC Radio and strong support from 2FM, FM104, iRadio, 98FM and Spin. With over 500,000 streams across multiple singles, two number one positions on the iTunes Rock Chart, and a debut EP that reached number 11 in Ireland, Taylor is quickly becoming a key voice in the indie pop-rock scene.
Survive is raw, vulnerable and emotionally charged. The song explores the chaos of loving someone who was never good for you and the strength it takes to rebuild yourself afterwards. Haunting verses build into an anthemic chorus, highlighting Taylor’s mix of emotional depth and bold pop-rock production. Written by Taylor and produced at Beardfire Studios, the track draws influence from Yungblud’s Zombie and Olivia Rodrigo’s Good For You.
Taylor said of the song:
“Survive is the most emotionally in-depth and personal song I’ve written, and I’m really excited to share it with the world. I’m hoping fans can find some connection in the lyrics and get lost in its melody.”
The single has already topped both the iTunes Rock Charts in Ireland and the official iTunes Chart, showing Taylor’s growing prominence both at home and abroad.
With Survive, Taylor D proves that her honest approach to songwriting and fearless sound is positioning her as one of the defining voices of contemporary indie pop-rock.
