James Snelling Unveils New EP: "How'd That Tree Get In Here?"
Born and raised in Southern California’s San Gabriel Valley, multi-instrumentalist James Snelling has been writing and performing music for over thirty years. He draws inspiration from life, politics, love, and even quantum physics. His sound recalls the raw energy of early Nirvana, the grit of Pearl Jam, and the soulful mastery of Stevie Ray Vaughan, while remaining entirely his own.
Snelling’s latest release, the EP How'd That Tree Get In Here?, is a three-song collection that moves through rock, blues, and disco in just fifteen minutes. The EP includes his first cover, a rock reinterpretation of Donna Summer’s 1979 disco hit Hot Stuff, alongside two new original tracks that showcase his versatility and adventurous approach to music.
How'd That Tree Get In Here? is available on all major streaming platforms as well as Bandcamp, offering listeners a concise and compelling glimpse into James Snelling’s musical world.
