The Radio Addicts Release Second Single “Before My Eyes”

The Radio Addicts are a young, teenage, emerging, unsigned band who play indie rock and roll like their lives depend on it. Since forming in 2024, their early career has been a whirlwind of sold-out shows, festival appearances, celebrity moments and a steadily growing number of supporters.

Following their debut single, Scroll My Life Away, which received airplay on radio stations worldwide and has gained around 14,500 Spotify streams, the band now return with their second single, Before My Eyes. The track is taken from their debut vinyl EP, MMXXV, which was announced for release in November 2025 but sold out in presales and gig ticket bundles four months in advance. A copy has even been seen listed on a record collectors’ forum for six times its original price.

The band has already made waves at festivals, including a secret acoustic set at Kendal Calling. Word of Luke’s performance spread quickly, and the tent was packed with fans singing along on a sunny Sunday afternoon.

Before My Eyes is an energetic indie/pop-punk track that mixes mosh-pit-ready chaos with introspective lyrics about growing up, drifting relationships and the panic of time moving too fast. Catchy hooks drive the chorus, while punchy guitars and youthful urgency give it a classic coming-of-age feel.

The release party show for Before My Eyes sold out three months in advance, and further shows around England are planned to promote the track. In early 2026, The Radio Addicts will play alongside Spangled, Crystal Tides, Stanleys, Alright and The Public Eyes, and headline a Manchester City Centre show for the first time. This gig, billed as “Manchester’s Next Gen Rock & Roll Stars”, sold out in just seven days, five months before the event.

2025 has been a remarkable year for the band. They have shared the stage with 2 x No. 1 album heroes The Lottery Winners, become friendly with other emerging bands such as the Florentenes, and Luke was even invited backstage to meet Bruce Springsteen before The Boss took to the stage at Manchester’s Co-Op Arena.

The Radio Addicts have caught the attention of radio stations, podcasts, journalists and influencers. Their music has been used in the play-out credits of an Australian sports show and has received glowing reviews from publications around the world. The band also appeared on the front pages of both The Manchester Evening News and The Bolton News in the summer of 2025.

Their live performances are energetic and engaging, winning them new supporters with every show. Luke’s stage presence has been compared to Robbie Williams, while one New Music One DJ described their sound as The Wombats mixed with The Buzzcocks. The band works well in early festival slots to warm up the audience and have no fear on main stages. They promote every show with dedication, knowing that each opportunity is important.

Young, energetic, hungry and bursting with the desire to entertain, The Radio Addicts are a band to watch. With Before My Eyes out now, they are proving that 2025 is just the beginning and the best is yet to come.
