Dan Wicks Releases Debut Single "Back To Cheltenham"

Dan Wicks, a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and respected music journalist, has released his debut single, Back To Cheltenham. Alongside his music career, Dan is also a radio presenter and podcast host. He is signed to EastLondon Recordings, and this latest release marks an exciting return to making music.

Back To Cheltenham was released on 14th November 2025 and is Dan’s first single after a period of reflection following work on his album The Final Chapter. This experience inspired him to start writing and recording again. With the help of Fumez, Dan created a debut single that is both warm and complex.

The song explores nostalgia in a way that feels real and layered, combining feelings of fondness with moments of pain. It is the first single from his upcoming debut album, Metroland, which is set for release in the first quarter of 2026. The album will be available on streaming platforms, digital download, CD, vinyl LP, and a deluxe LP edition with a 12-page lyric booklet.
