Paul Hetherington Returns with “Cruel” (7th Heaven Radio Edit)

Australian, Melbourne-based dance/pop singer, songwriter and producer Paul Hetherington is back with his latest release, Cruel (7th Heaven Radio Edit). Following a huge 2024, Hetherington is proving himself as a rising name in the international club and pop scene.

2024 was a breakout year for Hetherington, starting with the release of Dirty Mind, which was remixed by Grammy-winning producer Dave Audé, Grammy-nominated Swedish DJ and producer StoneBridge, and UK-based remix team 7th Heaven. The single reached #12 on the UK Commercial Club Chart (Music Week) and received strong radio support worldwide on stations including Sirius XM, NRJ, Hot Hits UK, Joy 94.9 and Raw FM in Australia.

Hetherington followed up with Thrill of the Chase, featuring remixes from 7th Heaven, Wayne G, Jared Jones, and Billboard-charting producer Jadion. The track also performed well, reaching the Top 20 on Music Week’s UK Commercial Club Chart and peaking at #15.

He started 2025 with Everything, a collaboration with UK producers Luv Foundation. The single was a hit in the clubs, reaching #4 on Music Week’s UK Commercial Club Chart and #5 on the UK Upfront Club Chart.

Now, Hetherington returns with a new take on New Zealand artist Dane Rumble’s Cruel. Produced by 7th Heaven, who have worked with Kylie Minogue, Katy Perry and Britney Spears, the track has been refreshed for a new generation. A remix EP will follow, bringing the track to clubs and radio worldwide.
