Stairwell Confessions Release Evocative New EP, 'Admit to Nothing'
Los Angeles-based three-piece alternative band Stairwell Confessions are making waves with their latest EP, Admit to Nothing. Originally starting out in 2023 as an acoustic-indie project, the band has quickly evolved into a dynamic force within the alternative music scene. Guitarist and frontman Elijah initially invited AJ Araujo to fill an open drummer position, and the pair’s creative chemistry soon became the driving force behind the EP. Just before the release, bassist Drew Barrios joined the duo, rounding out the lineup as they explored the band’s alternative roots.
Admit to Nothing is a five-track journey, weaving together a mixture of emotions into a sound that blends indie rock with elements of Midwest emo and “sad boi” pop punk. The EP showcases the band’s knack for crafting melodies that are at once introspective and anthemic, balancing raw vulnerability with musical energy.
Despite being relatively new to the scene, Stairwell Confessions have already performed two shows at the renowned House of Blues in Anaheim within their first year. These early performances hint at the band’s ambition and potential to carve out a distinctive space in the wider alternative landscape.
Admit to Nothing is now available for streaming on all major music platforms, offering listeners an intimate glimpse into the emotional spectrum and sonic identity of Stairwell Confessions. With a sound that is both heartfelt and exhilarating, the band is one to watch as they continue to make their mark.
