Hogleone’s ‘Ms Flight Attendant’: A High-Flying Musical Journey
Hogleone, also known as Jorgen Hoglund, has had a storied career in the music industry, spanning continents and decades. Born in Sweden and now based in the United States, the musician has played with various groups, including Tres Coronas, Imperial Sounds, Jacarandas, and Gå Runt Show alongside Bernt Dahlbeck and Mia Adolfson. At just nineteen, he had the opportunity to play lead guitar with Little Gerhard and his Rocking G-men in Mexico before continuing to tour with Little Gerhard & Sunny Girls upon his return to Sweden. His journey continued with the formation of Tequila, a group he created with Mexican and British friends, before eventually emigrating to the USA.
After a break from the industry, Hogleone has returned in full force, producing music entirely on his own terms. His upcoming album, Many Waters, set for release in 2025, is a testament to his independence and artistic evolution. He has meticulously handled every aspect of the album - composing, performing, recording, arranging, mixing, and mastering - without the aid of AI or external collaborators.
One of the standout singles from this project is Ms Flight Attendant, a song that, fittingly, was conceived mid-air on an international flight between the USA and Europe. The track is a rhythmic and melodic odyssey, gradually building in intensity before culminating in a vibrant brass section. True to Hogleone’s signature style, every instrument, every vocal line, and every production element was crafted solely by the artist himself.
Ms Flight Attendant is yet another compelling piece from Many Waters: Memoirs of a Travelling Wonderer, a collection of music that reflects the artist’s rich life experiences. It follows a series of monthly single releases, starting with I Believe in Love in September 2024, Leaving It Up to You in October, and A Melody in November. The project also features a Swedish-language single, Hoppas att du förstår, released in July 2024.
With Ms Flight Attendant, Hogleone continues to prove that music, like travel, is a journey - one of exploration, discovery, and boundless creativity. His return to the music world is not just a revival but a reinvention, one that promises to captivate listeners with each new release.
